Objective
I was tasked with making a 12 page magazine including a cover, table of context, 3 spreads, 3 ads and a columnist.  Using our own typography, magazine logo and volume type.
Process
With nine animals sharing my living space, I embarked on the creation of a magazine centered around animal care and well-being. Utilizing my own photography, I encountered the challenge of capturing moments where pets either posed or remained still during the photo sessions (thanks to the strategic use of peanut butter, particularly with the dogs). Selecting an aesthetic and color scheme proved to be a formidable task, but I ultimately settled on one that complemented the featured bunny, Opal, on the cover. The entire design process involved navigating the complexities of shaping each spread, achieving a unique balance between typography and photography. I ensured readability by incorporating clear subheads and pull quotes, simplifying the digestion of each block of text.”
Medium/Tools Used
In the production of this magazine, I employed Adobe Photoshop for photo editing and DPI adjustments. Adobe Illustrator was instrumental in the finalization of logos scattered throughout the publication, while InDesign served as the platform for seamlessly assembling all elements.
