Objective
For this assignment I was challenged to create an event pass as well as a website home page for a fictional event of my choice. It had to have a front with art as well as a security feature and the back had to have more information about other events going on with a Qr code leading them to the website for further information.
Process
I approached this project with a bold aesthetic, creating a personalized cassette + coffee event to showcase my illustration and typography skills. Opting for a 3D look, I sketched ideas to seamlessly convey information on the event pass. The website, designed to be eye-catching, features more illustrations than words, leaving viewers intrigued. The color palette reflects a cute spring day, with light brown tying it together to represent coffee.
Medium/Tools Used
I created the illustrations in Photoshop, designed the sponsor’s logo and social icons in Illustrator, and assembled everything together adding spot colors and color separations in InDesign.
